Defender of design and internally renowned speaker. She was named one of the 30 young female entrepreneurs under the age of 30 by the Inc. Magazine, included in the Fast Company list of the most influential women in technology, and named as a National Geographic emerging explorer in 2012. Case is currently exploring the future of the web economy and payment for its creators with a grant from the Mozzila Foundation. In her field of study, cyborg anthropology, she has spent several years exploring the interaction between humans and technology and how this is changing everyday life and society. Author of books such as ”Calm Technology, Design for the Next Generation Device”’ and “A Kids Book About Technology”, at the BBDW21 she will discuss her ideas about how design, technology and other ingredients for technological development must interact to serve the needs of humans and the planet.
